Last December, Musk became the first individual to surpass $400 billion in wealth. His current fortune now exceeds that of Larry Ellison, who ranks second, by $150 billion, and he has already completed half the journey toward becoming the world's first trillionaire.
Tesla shares rose nearly 4% on Wednesday, adding approximately $9.3 billion to Musk's wealth, as investors continue to express confidence in Musk refocusing on Tesla operations.
