TechFlow, September 28 — According to Caixin, the digital yuan blockchain service platform and the digital asset platform will be built on the same underlying blockchain infrastructure, enabling linkage between the two platforms and supporting Delivery versus Payment (DvP) settlement under a unified ledger. This aims to explore feasible paths within the current regulatory framework to enhance financial service quality and efficiency while reducing settlement risks. The former platform is positioned to support standardized blockchain transaction routing and on-chain digital yuan payment services, while the latter focuses on the issuance, registration, custody, and trading of compliant digital assets on-chain.
It is reported that Caixin has updated its content, apparently removing earlier mentions stating that "the digital yuan blockchain service platform is based on Chang'an Chain and the digital asset platform is based on Shanghai Clearing House."
