TechFlow, September 25 — According to Coinpost, Digital Securities Co., Ltd., operator of the digital securities platform "renga," announced the completion of its second Series A funding round totaling 300 million yen (approximately 2 million USD). Since its establishment, the company has raised a cumulative total of 1.2 billion yen (approximately 8 million USD).
The latest round was participated in by investment arms of three major Japanese corporate groups: SBI Ventures Three G.K., Mitsubishi Corporation, and Mitsubishi UFJ Capital No. 10 Investment Limited Partnership.
The company operates a "digital securities marketplace platform," offering retail purchase services for diversified investment products such as real estate funds and solar energy funds, available to both individual and institutional investors. The company stated it will use the newly raised funds to strive toward becoming the leading platform provider in Japan's digital securities industry and plans to collaborate with shareholders across a wide range of areas from fund creation to distribution.
