According to sources from industry insiders obtained by Caixin, among the three major business platforms, the digital yuan cross-border payment platform is based on the central bank's digital currency bridge project, the digital yuan blockchain service platform is built upon the self-developed and controllable blockchain software and hardware system "Chang'an Chain," and the digital asset platform is based on the Shanghai Clearing House.
On September 28, Caixin News updated its article, seemingly removing the content stating "the digital yuan blockchain service platform is based on Chang'an Chain, and the digital asset platform is based on the Shanghai Clearing House," revising it to "the digital yuan blockchain service platform and the digital asset platform will be built upon the same blockchain infrastructure."
