TechFlow, September 27 — According to China National Radio, Ying Yong, China's Chief Prosecutor and Procurator-General of the Supreme People's Procuratorate, delivered a keynote speech at the 15th Conference of Attorneys General of China and ASEAN Member States held in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. He pointed out that crimes such as money laundering, bribery, and corruption carried out through cryptocurrencies and virtual assets have characteristics of concealment, deception, and complexity, making investigation and evidence collection difficult, factual determination challenging, and asset recovery complicated—posing new challenges to law enforcement and governance. These crimes severely undermine the property security of citizens across nations and seriously threaten financial security and social stability. Strengthening international cooperation on anti-money laundering, anti-corruption, and asset recovery in the digital era has become an important consensus within the international community.
