The Horizon Hackathon is HashKey Chain’s global hackathon initiative targeting Web3 developers, designed to attract top-tier talent to build real-world, production-ready financial applications on its chain and accelerate the development of the next-generation financial blockchain ecosystem.
Event Timeline & Registration
The hackathon officially commences on March 10, 2026, with registration closing on April 15, 2026; the entire event runs through April 23, 2026. Developers may register via the official platform DoraHacks (dorahacks.io/hackathon/2045). All key updates and announcements will be disseminated through HashKey Chain’s official Telegram channel.
Track Categories
This hackathon features four distinct tracks, covering the most promising directions in today’s Web3 landscape. The DeFi track focuses on innovative development of decentralized finance protocols and applications; the PayFi track targets use cases integrating payments and finance, exploring possibilities for on-chain payment infrastructure; the AI track encourages deep integration of artificial intelligence technologies with blockchain to build intelligent Web3 applications; and the ZKID track centers on practical applications of zero-knowledge proofs and identity authentication, exploring novel solutions for privacy protection and identity verification.
Awards & Incentives
The hackathon offers a total prize pool of $40,000 USDT, distributed among winning teams across all tracks. Beyond monetary rewards, winning projects will receive official incubation support from HashKey Chain—including technical resources, ecosystem resources, and comprehensive project development assistance—to help high-potential projects transition from hackathon prototypes to real-world deployment.
