After releasing a declaration embracing Web3, Hong Kong is hosting an international crypto event this year themed "Hong Kong Web3 Festival 2023."
The conference will focus on current industry hot topics, including AI, Web3 technologies, blockchain-driven financial infrastructure, cutting-edge Web3 applications, and evolving global regulations.
Speaking sessions will cover areas such as Layer 2 blockchain technology, decentralized storage, NFTs, stablecoins, decentralized and centralized finance, and digital wallets.
In addition to prominent figures from the blockchain industry, the event has invited tech leaders, experts, scholars, and representatives from Hong Kong's regulatory bodies, who will share their views on Hong Kong’s latest regulatory policies, standards, and future development in the Web3 and virtual asset sectors. For Web3 developers and project teams, this conference relates directly to opportunities and favorable policies for establishing operations in Hong Kong.
Notably, John Tsang, Financial Secretary of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, has confirmed his attendance and will deliver a speech at the opening ceremony on the morning of April 12. CZ, founder and CEO of Binance, will also attend, participating live online as the closing keynote speaker on the first day of the event.
