Pharos Network Mainnet “Pacific Ocean” Officially Launches, Solving the Fragmentation Problem Between RWA Distribution and Liquidity
Pharos Network has officially launched its Layer 1 public blockchain for the RWA (Real-World Assets) sector. The project has raised a total of $52 million in funding, with a valuation nearing $1 billion. Its testnet has processed nearly 4.3 billion transactions, and over 50 dApps have been deployed on the mainnet at launch. Pharos is committed to providing a compliant, blockchain-based infrastructure for institutional-grade tokenization of real-world assets.
Hong Kong, April 28, 2026 — Pharos Network, a Layer 1 blockchain dedicated to Real-World Finance (RealFi), today officially launched its “Pacific Ocean” Mainnet and native token $PROS, marking the full transition of this project—having raised $52 million to date and achieved a valuation nearing $1 billion—into production. Pharos is designed to tackle core, long-standing challenges in real-world asset (RWA) tokenization, including fragmented distribution channels and the lack of institutional-grade infrastructure, through a compliance-friendly architecture.
Prior to launch, Pharos’ public testnet processed nearly 4.3 billion transactions across more than 200 million wallet addresses within less than one year—demonstrating strong early market demand and production-ready maturity.
To date, Pharos has raised a total of $52 million, including a $44 million Series A round co-led by multiple institutions from traditional technology, finance, and crypto sectors. Additionally, GCL New Energy—a Hong Kong-listed energy company (HKEX: 0451)—has entered into a strategic capital partnership, further supporting Pharos’ valuation approaching $1 billion.
While tokenization of real-world assets—exemplified by U.S. Treasury securities—is rapidly advancing, large-scale deployment still faces two major hurdles: first, asset distribution channels remain highly siloed, hindering efficient capital flow across platforms; second, institutional investors demand greater control over compliance management, trading, and portfolio data—yet the market has long lacked infrastructure capable of meeting these requirements.
In response, Pharos has built a compliance-first, privacy-respecting infrastructure that enables seamless onboarding of real-world assets onto diverse on-chain markets. Institutions and users can interact with tokenized assets under a unified framework while retaining full autonomy over how their data is shared. Once integrated, users can smoothly swap, lend, trade, and settle real-world assets across applications—reducing friction, improving distribution efficiency, and enabling high-efficiency liquidity circulation across financial applications. Projects built on Pharos can deploy directly into this ecosystem and instantly access shared liquidity, interoperable infrastructure, and integrated compliant stablecoins.
This launch arrives at a pivotal moment as the RWA tokenization sector evolves toward a multi-trillion-dollar market. With institutional participation steadily increasing, demand for infrastructure capable of supporting large-scale, high-efficiency on-chain financial activity has grown more urgent than ever. Pharos positions itself as the foundational infrastructure for “RealFi,” committed to enabling real-world financial activity on-chain.
On the ecosystem integration front, Pharos has integrated OKX Wallet and self-custodial wallet TopNod—enabling millions of existing users to participate seamlessly without re-registration. Meanwhile, the Pharos mainnet will integrate USDC and the cross-chain transfer protocol (CCTP), ensuring reliable, compliant liquidity movement.
For ecosystem development, Pharos has launched “Native to Pharos,” a $10 million global incubator program attracting an expanding cohort of real-world asset application partners. Over 50 ecosystem dApps are expected to deploy concurrently at mainnet launch, spanning asset issuance, trading, and financial services.
Prior to mainnet launch, Pharos demonstrated early capital aggregation capability through its high-yield RWA treasury: the first phase raised over $15 million in pre-staked commitments, and the full $50 million allocation was fully subscribed within days. Leveraging this foundation, Pharos launches with both an active application ecosystem and substantive on-chain liquidity from Day One.
Wish Wu, Co-Founder and CEO of Pharos, stated: “Institutional adoption was once just a vision—it is now reality. Today’s mainnet launch transforms that momentum into tangible, usable capacity for the entire ecosystem.”
