Tracking 118 coins launched in 2025, 85% are below their launch valuation

We tracked 118 token generation events (TGEs) launched in 2025 and compared their current fully diluted valuations (FDV) with their valuations at launch, yielding the following results:

84.7% (100 out of 118) are currently valued lower than at TGE;

This means approximately 4 out of every 5 newly issued tokens are trading below their launch valuation;

The median token's fully diluted valuation (FDV) has dropped 71% since launch (market cap down 67%);

Only 15% of tokens remain "green" post-TGE (i.e., above launch valuation).
Nowadays, participating in a TGE no longer counts as "early investment"—truly disheartening.
