China's central bank increases gold holdings for the 11th consecutive month
China's gold reserves stood at 740.6 million ounces (approximately 2,303.523 metric tons) as of the end of September, an increase of 40,000 ounces (about 1.24 metric tons) from the previous month, marking the eleventh consecutive month of gold accumulation. At the end of August, gold reserves were reported at 740.2 million ounces.

At the end of August, gold reserves were reported at 740.2 million troy ounces.
