U.S. House advances cryptocurrency regulatory bills; GENIUS stablecoin bill may go to Trump for signing
According to The Block, the U.S. House passed procedural votes on Wednesday by 215 to 211, advancing both the GENIUS stablecoin bill and the Clarity Act on digital asset markets. The GENIUS bill, which creates a regulatory framework for stablecoins and has already passed the Senate, could be sent to President Trump for signature within this week. Lawmakers also agreed to later vote on a bill preventing the Federal Reserve from directly issuing central bank digital currencies (CBDCs) to individuals. A similar vote failed the previous day due to concerns among some Republican lawmakers over CBDC-related provisions.
Trump denies drafting letter to fire Fed Chair Powell
According to Jin10 News, U.S. President Trump recently stated: "Fed Chair Powell has always acted too late and performed poorly, and we will continue to face challenges." When asked whether he plans to dismiss Fed Chair Powell, Trump said: "No plans. But changes will happen within the next eight months—we’ll appoint someone who performs well. We’re considering Kevin Hassett, Director of the White House National Economic Council, for a Fed-related position. I’m only interested in having a 'low-rate person' as Fed Chair."
Earlier, The New York Times reported that U.S. President Trump had drafted a letter to fire Fed Chair Powell.
WLFI token transferability proposal passes community vote
According to the official page, the WLFI token transferability proposal has passed community voting with a support rate of 99.94%. The proposal aims to seek community input and officially initiate token transferability. The team will begin distributing tokens to eligible early supporters and launch community governance via a second vote to determine the unlocking of remaining tokens.

Under the new terms, PYUSD now operates across three blockchains—Ethereum, Solana, and Arbitrum—allowing users to send and receive PYUSD on any of these networks.
Issued by Paxos, the stablecoin is pegged to $1 and fully backed by U.S. dollar deposits, U.S. Treasuries, and repurchase agreements. PayPal also launched a PYUSD rewards program, allowing eligible users to earn returns based on their holdings.
