1. Create a Wallet
- Download TronLink
Users who wish to create a GasFree account should visit the official TronLink Wallet website or download the official app from app stores. To ensure compatibility and security, users must install TronLink App v4.15.0 or higher, or TronLink Extension v4.2.0 or higher.
- Create a GasFree Wallet
Method 1: Click “Explore GasFree” on the homepage of the TronLink universal wallet to create directly.

Method 2: Check the box for “Create GasFree Wallet simultaneously” or “Import GasFree Wallet simultaneously” when creating or importing a universal wallet.

- Back Up Your Recovery Phrase
Safeguard the generated recovery phrase—it is the sole credential for recovering both your universal and GasFree wallets.
2. Activate Your Wallet
- Activation via First Transfer
A GasFree wallet is activated after completing the first authorized GasFree transfer. Enter the GasFree wallet and click “Send.” The system checks whether the wallet is activated. If not, a message will appear stating: “An activation fee and transfer service fee will be charged because the GasFree wallet is not yet activated.”
- Pay Activation Fee
After paying the activation fee and current transfer service fee, once the transaction is recorded on-chain, the wallet becomes activated.

3. Transfer Guide
When making a GasFree-authorized transfer, users do not need multiple signature confirmations—only a standard signature from the corresponding universal wallet is required. This design simplifies the transfer process and improves efficiency. However, users must ensure wallet security and proceed with caution at every step.
- Initiate Transfer
In the GasFree wallet, enter the recipient address → select token → input amount.
- Fee Confirmation
Activated wallet: Only shows transfer service fee
Non-activated wallet: Shows activation fee + transfer fee
- Submit Transaction
Click “Submit,” and the GasFree service provider processes the on-chain record. Status changes from “Processing” → “Completed.”
Tip: Currently, GasFree only supports TRC20-USDT transfers. However, if you accidentally send unsupported tokens to your GasFree wallet, there’s no need to worry. The interface will display a prompt: “X tokens are not transferable.” Unsupported tokens can be withdrawn back to the universal wallet.
4. View GasFree Transaction History
On the GasFree wallet homepage, select the target token whose transaction history you want to view. Click into the details page to see all GasFree-related records for that token, including transfer and contract-triggered events.
