HTX DAO Ambassador Molly attends Hong Kong RWA Investment and Financing Conference: How DAO governance and RWA assets become the civilizational interface reshaping the global financial architecture
"We are not building a DAO; we are creating an interface for civilization."
On May 22, Molly, ambassador of HTX DAO, was invited to attend the 2025 RWA International Investment and Financing Conference in Hong Kong, where she presented HTX DAO's perspective on the topic of RWA. The invitation coincided with the recent formal passage of Hong Kong’s Stablecoin Bill by the Legislative Council, highlighting HTX DAO’s significant industry standing and Hong Kong’s strategic focus on decentralized ecosystems as an international financial hub.
Molly pointed out that we are currently at a historic turning point marked by the accelerated dismantling of the old financial order and the reconstruction of a new system. "Crypto is not a technological invention; it is a movement to restructure financial power." At a time when traditional finance—centered on SWIFT, the US dollar, and multinational banks—is becoming unbalanced, HTX DAO’s proposed “DAO governance + RWA assets” will be the core pathway to building the interface of a new financial civilization.
RWA: The Core Battlefield for Restructuring Finance — Why Does This Responsibility Fall on HTX DAO?
RWA is not simply about asset tokenization, but represents a structural transformation where real-world assets actively integrate into on-chain governance, fair trading, and global collaboration mechanisms. Molly emphasized that on-chain does not equate to decentralization—the true change lies in the governance reshaping and redistribution mechanisms enabled by DAO participation. As an ecosystem possessing the integrated advantages of “real-world assets + crypto architecture + governance model,” HTX DAO already has the capabilities and resources to lead in RWA implementation:
- Infrastructure: The Huobi HTX exchange and TRON public chain provide high-performance infrastructure for the issuance, circulation, and settlement of RWA assets;
- Governance: Through the veHTX mechanism, Snapshot voting, and community proposal systems, multi-layered governance is achieved with clarity, transparency, and censorship resistance;
- Distribution: Leveraging KOL ecosystems, Launchpool mechanisms, and broad community mobilization capabilities to accelerate asset subscription and dissemination.
How HTX DAO Will Build a Closed-Loop RWA Ecosystem
For future development in the RWA space, HTX DAO plans to advance six key modules, covering asset discovery mechanisms, governance standardization, governance-distribution integration, yield loop mechanisms, risk response systems, and ecosystem expansion with external collaboration frameworks. These modules will ensure the entire lifecycle of RWA projects—including proposals, reviews, launches, yield distribution, and risk management—is conducted on-chain, enabling transparent governance and auditability.
For $HTX holders, DAO governance is no longer a technical term, but a tangible co-governance system where users can participate, make decisions, and share profits directly. HTX DAO plans to establish a veHTX mechanism and structured yield distribution, allowing $HTX holders to lock their tokens to obtain veHTX, thereby gaining voting rights, governance influence, and profit-sharing entitlements—to decide whether RWA projects get listed, control revenue splits, and determine execution timelines.
Advancing in Sync with Hong Kong’s Stablecoin Bill Toward a New Financial Era
Shortly before this conference, Hong Kong’s Legislative Council formally passed the Stablecoin Bill, establishing a comprehensive compliance framework for fiat-referenced stablecoins (FRS). This move positions Hong Kong among the first global jurisdictions to enact stablecoin legislation. Justin Sun, core contributor of HTX DAO, global advisor of Huobi HTX, and founder of TRON, shared the news on X, expressing support for Hong Kong’s progress in stablecoin regulation.
HTX DAO highly commends this legislative advancement, noting that it not only establishes a sustainable regulatory framework for stablecoins but also provides a solid legal foundation for integrating RWA assets with on-chain governance systems.
As 2025 marks the inaugural year of stablecoin legislation, Hong Kong is stepping to the forefront of the global digital finance wave. HTX DAO, leveraging DAO governance as its engine and RWA assets as bridges, is building an open and shared decentralized asset governance ecosystem.
"We are not building just a DAO—we are constructing a civilizational interface," as Molly stated. HTX DAO will continue expanding its ecosystem boundaries as a builder, advancing in alignment with Hong Kong and global compliant policies, to shape a new financial era truly owned by the community and serving real-world value.
