First zkWASM Hackathon Successfully Concludes, $100,000 in Prizes Awarded to Innovative Projects
The hackathon attracted a total of 57 teams, with 28 competing in the MEME track and 29 in the gaming track, fully demonstrating Asian developers' and creators' enthusiasm for zkWASM technology.
Hosted by Delphinus Lab, and co-organized by BeWater and SevenX Ventures, the MEME.ZKWASM() Hackathon successfully concluded after a month-long journey. As the developer of the first open-source zkWASM virtual machine, Delphinus Lab has received support from renowned investment institutions such as Binance Labs and OKX Ventures. The team is dedicated to enabling dedicated rollup services at the application layer through zkWASM, driving the growth of the Web3 decentralized application ecosystem and seamlessly bringing browser-based applications into the Web3 era.
zkWASM technology enables smart contract verification by executing WASM code and generating zkSNARK proofs of the execution trace, allowing applications to be easily deployed on any decentralized platform. As a universal compilation target supporting multiple programming languages including C, C++, Java, Rust, Go, Ruby, Swift, and TypeScript, zkWASM is bringing more traditional developers into the blockchain world.
The hackathon attracted 57 participating teams—28 in the MEME track and 29 in the gaming track—demonstrating strong enthusiasm among Asian developers and creators for zkWASM technology. After a month of intense competition, 10 outstanding projects emerged across the two tracks, sharing a total prize pool of $100,000 USD.

In addition to the technical and ecosystem partners shown above, the hackathon also received support from media and community partners including TechFlow, MetaEra, DeBox, Moledao, OpenBuild, SGUni DAO, HackQuest, PlanckerDAO, LXDAO, Rebase Community, SeeGrowth, WhaleDAO, Peking University Blockchain Association, Lingnan University Blockchain Association, Shenzhen University Blockchain Association, Zhejiang University Blockchain Association, and 0xU, helping amplify the impact of zkWASM technology and encouraging more developers to join the innovation wave.
[Gaming Track]

The Grand Prize ($15,000 USDT) was awarded to zkRPS. This project innovatively reinvented the classic rock-paper-scissors game using computer vision technology and MediaPipe for real-time hand gesture recognition. It also leverages zkWASM to execute game logic, ensuring security and fairness throughout gameplay.
Second Prize ($10,000 USDT each) went to two standout projects:
Veilcraft: A pioneering Roguelike card game integrating AI-generated mechanics. Players unlock diverse hero characters, collect powerful cards, and compete across dynamic storylines, challenges, and PvP modes.
Dolphin Sparta: A fantasy underwater world where players train elite dolphin warriors and build their own aquatic armies. Featuring unique unit types like Spear Dolphins and Sword Dolphins, players unite to battle the ultimate boss—the Evil Whale.
Third Prize ($5,000 USDT each) was awarded to two additional projects:
EcoDolphin: A creative game that integrates environmental awareness into gameplay. Players control brave dolphins to collect ocean waste and earn $DOL tokens while avoiding shark attacks. By leveraging zkWASM, the project ensures fair play and achieves a perfect blend of entertainment and environmental advocacy.
CoinPUPS: A meme-inspired clicker game on Telegram, already launched on Mantle and TON blockchains in July 2024. Developed in collaboration with BlockBooster and backed by Animoca Brands and Mantle, the project aims to set new records in the crypto ecosystem’s clicker gaming space.
[MEME Track]

The Grand Prize ($15,000 USDT) was awarded to Bullishs, an innovative cross-chain advertising platform offering multiple rewards per transaction. Currently providing verified high-quality traffic services across over 15 blockchain networks, Bullishs is redefining the future of on-chain digital marketing.
Second Prize ($10,000 USDT each) went to two highly creative projects:
Dokuan: A satirical MEME project born from the Terra incident, using humor to help heal community trauma while sending an industry-wide message: fraudulent behavior in crypto not only faces legal consequences but can also become immortalized as part of MEME culture. The project aims to promote healthier accountability within the industry through creative expression.
DeadChu: An innovative NFT community project that creatively fuses elements of Pokemon (Pikachu) and Deadpool to form a unique character IP.
Third Prize ($5,000 USDT each) was awarded to:
Burger: A community-driven project inspired by the historic moment when Donald Trump used cryptocurrency to buy a burger. Governed by a fully decentralized autonomous structure, it brings together top talent in the crypto space and strives to become the leading IP in food-themed meme culture.
Eddy: A creative token project inspired by the animated series "Family Guy," complete with a custom AI persona. Eddy is more than just a token—it's a distinct character with personality, aiming to expand across multiple blockchain ecosystems.
Over this past month, we’ve witnessed every exciting moment—from initial ideas to groundbreaking innovations. Every line of code and every experimental leap has helped push the Web3 ecosystem forward. This successful conclusion of the hackathon marks not an end, but a new beginning for zkWASM technology. We look forward to continuing this journey with all our ecosystem partners, exploring the boundless possibilities of blockchain technology.
