Bitget Report: TON Ecosystem Users Play an Average of 5 T2E Games, with Approximately 86% of Respondents Playing Hamster Kombat
As Telegram's user base approaches 1 billion, games like Hamster Kombat have quickly risen to prominence.

Bitget has recently released a user research report on Telegram T2E games, analyzing feedback from nearly ten thousand users to explore the most popular game types within the TON ecosystem, user gaming habits, and commonly used decentralized wallet tools. This report offers valuable insights into user behavior in the TON ecosystem.
The survey collected 10,534 valid responses through questionnaires distributed on Telegram. As Telegram approaches one billion users, games like Hamster Kombat have rapidly gained prominence. The findings indicate that Telegram gamers typically have ample free time and are particularly drawn to "time-for-rewards" task-based games—especially those with simple operations, low entry barriers, and visible daily returns.
Regarding gaming preferences, the data shows that approximately 86% of respondents are currently playing Hamster Kombat, indicating its dominant market share within the TON ecosystem. Tapswap and Blum follow closely behind, each with 79% user adoption. Other popular titles include Yescoin and Catizen, both ranking among the top five most-played games. Notably, when asked how many Telegram games they play, over half (54%) reported playing up to five different games, highlighting significant user overlap across popular titles.
Decentralized wallets supporting the TON ecosystem are essential tools for Telegram gaming. The survey found that 41% of users cited recommendations from friends as the most important factor in choosing a decentralized wallet, underscoring the critical role of word-of-mouth (WOM). Additionally, 31% and 27% of users learned about wallets through Telegram communities and the games they play, respectively.
In terms of specific usage preferences, mobile apps hold an overwhelming advantage—a trend that contrasts with traditional Web3 users who often prefer browser extensions. This shift indicates that Telegram and its gaming ecosystem are bringing a large influx of new users into the crypto space, reshaping user behavior. It also explains why MetaMask is not the preferred wallet among Telegram game players. Instead, Trust Wallet and Bitget Wallet have emerged as the most popular choices, with adoption rates reaching 71% and 68%, respectively.
Alvin, COO of Bitget Wallet, said: "The development of T2E games in the TON ecosystem deserves the industry's attention. These developers are experiencing unprecedented growth, while many users are earning tangible rewards through T2E gameplay. We are proud to be among the first decentralized wallets to fully support the TON ecosystem. To enable seamless trading of TON-based assets and smooth access to TON games and applications, we have integrated support for popular apps such as Catizen, Notcoin, Hamster Kombat, and Yescoin. Furthermore, through close collaboration with the TON ecosystem, we’ve introduced gas-free interactions. These innovations will lower the barrier to entry for the TON ecosystem, welcoming more users who have never experienced crypto before and positioning them as pioneers in Web3."
Through this survey, Bitget has not only revealed behavioral characteristics of game users in the TON ecosystem but also provided valuable market insights that can guide future product and service optimization. The continued growth and expansion of the TON ecosystem will bring further innovation and opportunities to the gaming and cryptocurrency industries.
