June 7, 2024 – TONX, Asia's leading venture studio for TON, partnered with the TON Foundation to host "The Open League Summer Bootcamp," a developer bootcamp held in Hong Kong and Taipei. The event concluded successfully on June 2, attracting hundreds of developers from across the Asia-Pacific region. Twelve teams each from Taipei and Hong Kong participated in the competition showcase. Special guests included Anton Trunov, Technical Director of Tact at the TON Foundation, and Alex Golev from the TON DevRel team.
Serving as a preparatory course for the TONX Accelerator Program, the bootcamp offered outstanding teams a direct pathway into the accelerator. Selected teams will have access to up to $5 million in ecosystem grants, international exposure, and market, technical, and business support from founders and teams within the TON ecosystem. Applications for the first phase of the TONX Accelerator Program closed on June 3, receiving over 70 proposals, with GameFi (32.5%), SocialFi (22.5%), and AI (12.5%) representing the largest categories.
A highlight of the bootcamp was the unveiling of the latest TON roadmap by Dr. Awesome Doge, core TON developer and co-founder of TONX, during his keynote. He encouraged developers to leverage the training opportunity to build diverse projects that support the growth of the TON ecosystem. He also announced that TONX will join forces with the TON Foundation to sponsor The Open Summit, Asia’s largest TON event, which will be co-located with the Asia Blockchain Summit from August 6–8.
The collaboration between Telegram and TON reveals immense business opportunities and limitless potential.
