Justin Sun noted that there are already over 100 CeFi and DeFi participants in the RWA space, with the market potentially growing to $16 trillion by 2030, significantly impacting how the crypto industry handles value transfer, settlement, and asset preservation.
Taking stUSDT as an example, Sun explained the additional value unlocked by RWA in the stablecoin market. According to him, stUSDT can be viewed as a “Yu’ebao for the Web3 world.” By bridging on-chain assets with real-world assets, stUSDT offers users diversified investment portfolios that meet various financial needs.
