BitKeep Wallet launches support for KEY3.id's .bayc and other blue-chip NFT domain resolutions
On December 5, the DID application KEY3.id announced a partnership with leading wallet BitKeep Wallet.
On December 5, DID application KEY3.id announced a collaboration with leading wallet BitKeep Wallet. BitKeep Wallet now supports Asset Bound Tokens (ABT), including .bayc—the industry's first ABT introduced by KEY3.id—as well as other premium NFT-anchored digital domains.
Users who own premium NFT-linked domains such as .bayc can now use their .bayc domain for identity identification, transfers, social interactions, airdrops, and more within major wallets like BitKeep Wallet. They can also access 70 different main chains and store and manage over 220,000 types of crypto assets and NFTs.

Kory Pak, CEO of KEY3.id: "Partnering with BitKeep Wallet is a necessary step toward creating a more open financial system for the world. KEY3.id’s blue-chip NFT-bound domains (such as .bayc) utilize the Asset Bound Token (ABT) concept to bring greater value to NFT holders. This means that from now on, your NFT gains an additional proof confirming you as the true owner of a blue-chip NFT."
Currently, KEY3.id is collaborating with dozens of prominent NFT communities including BAYC, Azuki, Clone X, Doodles, Mfers, Mimic Shhans, and Moonbirds. A community vote will officially launch on December 5 at 20:00 (UTC+8). Blue-chip NFT holders can vote to select their preferred DID suffixes, with the voting period lasting 10 weeks.

BitKeep stated, “Our collaboration with KEY3.id reflects our long-term confidence in the DID sector. As critical infrastructure, DID represents a paradigm shift—a new network ecosystem built upon new standards and technologies. In the future, with widespread adoption of DID, personal data will no longer be locked within a single ecosystem or entity. DID will bring new value to internet-based economic activities.”
Previously, in its first phase, KEY3.id launched .did digital domains, aiming to provide every Web3 user with a permanently free identity. It enables users to experience Free-to-Own DID in Web3—encouraging broader participation without requiring any upfront payment for DID registration. Starting from free access, users can freely own their identities while ensuring neutrality, inclusivity, and cross-chain compatibility to help build a more inclusive Web3 world.
The newly launched .bayc premium domain marks KEY3.id’s second phase and serves as the industry’s first Asset Bound Token (ABT), ushering BAYC into a new era of “Asset as your DID” (assets as identity). Holders of blue-chip NFTs such as BAYC can claim corresponding DID suffixes via KEY3.id.
Upon launch, .bayc quickly gained popularity among BAYC NFT holders, including well-known Web3 KOLs. Michael Cameron, CEO of Game Space, minted 6669.bayc and changed his Twitter name to “Michael Cameron 6669.bayc”; former Huobi Global CEO 0xLivio minted 2883.bayc and similarly updated his Twitter handle. Discussions about .bayc have rapidly spread across various Bored Ape communities.
Michael Cameron said: ".bayc perfectly combines the prestige of the BAYC domain with the memorability of 4-digit domains. Only NFT holders can claim them, effectively showcasing the holder’s assets. It is expected to become one of the most sought-after DIDs and may even boost prices of top-tier NFTs like Bored Apes—especially benefiting premium-numbered assets."
Multiple Bored Ape NFT holders told us that the most valuable aspect of .bayc lies in its ABT feature, which ensures seriousness and authenticity—tied directly to the NFT itself, non-transferable separately, and destroyed automatically once the underlying NFT is transferred or traded.
Kory believes users benefit from owning blue-chip NFT DIDs by establishing their online identity through Asset Bound Tokens (ABTs). ABTs identify NFTs held in a user’s wallet, ensuring reliability of the user’s DID and truly representing “Assets as Your DID” (assets as identity). For example, only the true owner of BAYC#0000 can mint and use 0000.bayc—non-transferable. Once the NFT is traded, the corresponding DID is destroyed, marking the dawn of an era where assets serve as user identities.
In the long term, for Web3 to achieve explosive growth, mature DID solutions are essential—and some projects will inevitably emerge as leaders in this space. Even during bear markets, interest in DID continues to grow. This month, ENS domain registrations exceeded 430,000, setting another record high. Additionally, the total number of unique ENS participant addresses reached 599,171, with a total of 2,763,252 ENS domains registered.
Compared to ENS’s total supply of 2.7 million domains, most NFT collections are numbered—with blue-chip projects such as BAYC, Azuki, Clone X, and Moonbirds having fixed supplies of only 10,000 each. Therefore, having only 10,000 four-digit premium domains makes “asset-as-identity” DIDs not only rare but highly collectible.
Notably, KEY3.id has partnered with dozens of wallets, DeFi platforms, GameFi, SocialFi, and other dApps—including BitKeep Wallet. The collaboration between KEY3.id and major NFT communities such as BAYC, Azuki, Clone X, Doodles, Mfers, Mimic Shhans, and Moonbirds, along with the upcoming community voting, may accelerate the real-world implementation of innovative DID solutions.
