Bitizen Wallet, a keyless and seed phrase-free Web3 wallet based on MPC, has integrated Chainlink Price Feeds on the Polygon mainnet.

We are excited to announce that Bitizen Wallet, a MPC-based, private key and seed phrase-free Web3 wallet, has integrated Chainlink Price Feeds on the Polygon mainnet. By integrating the industry-leading decentralized oracle network, Bitizen Wallet now gains access to high-quality, tamper-proof price feeds to display accurate token prices within our Web3 wallet. Ultimately, this ensures our users that the value of their assets is based on the latest and most precise pricing data.
We chose Chainlink as our preferred oracle solution because its infrastructure is seamlessly integrable and battle-tested in practice. Chainlink has secured leading DeFi protocols responsible for tens of billions of dollars in smart contract value, maintaining strong security and high availability even during unexpected events such as exchange outages, flash crashes, and data manipulation attacks via flash loans.
Bitizen Wallet is a private key and seed phrase-free Web3 wallet that uses secure Multi-Party Computation (MPC) protocols to eliminate the critical vulnerabilities present in traditional wallets—the mnemonic phrases and private keys. With a simple and intuitive design, Bitizen Wallet serves as the ideal gateway for users entering the Web3 world. Integrated with a built-in Web3 browser, DEX, and DeFi aggregator, Bitizen Wallet acts as a one-stop portal into the entire Web3 ecosystem.
To ensure accurate asset valuation within our wallet, we need to obtain up-to-date asset prices and deliver them directly on-chain in a highly reliable manner. These prices must reasonably reflect the volume-weighted average trading prices across all market environments. Therefore, we require an oracle network to aggregate off-chain price data before delivering it to on-chain applications.
After evaluating multiple oracle solutions, we decided to integrate Chainlink Price Feeds due to their robust feature set, including:
- High-Quality Data—Chainlink Price Feeds source raw data from numerous premium data aggregators, generating prices aggregated from hundreds of exchanges, weighted by trading volume, and cleansed of outliers and wash trading. Chainlink’s data aggregation model produces more accurate global market prices inherently resistant to inaccuracies or manipulation from any single or small group of exchanges.
- Secure Node Operators—Chainlink Price Feeds are protected by independent, security-audited, Sybil-resistant oracle nodes operated by leading blockchain DevOps teams, data providers, and traditional enterprises. Chainlink nodes have a proven track record of reliability, even during periods of high gas fees and infrastructure disruptions.
- Decentralized Network—Chainlink Price Feeds are decentralized at the data source, oracle node, and network levels, providing comprehensive protection against downtime or data manipulation by data providers or oracle networks.
- Robust Reputation System—Chainlink provides a powerful reputation framework and suite of on-chain monitoring tools, enabling users to independently verify the historical and real-time performance of node operators and oracle networks.
Looking ahead, we plan to expand the use of Chainlink Price Feeds to include price data from blockchains beyond Polygon, enhancing our product’s competitiveness within the sector.
