NFT Subculture: Why Are Mfers So Appealing?
mfers: We gamble in our own way, exploring a new world.

1. Cultural Factors
Culture matters. For someone like me coming from finance into the NFT space, one of the biggest mental shifts has been recognizing the importance of culture.
Mfers originated from a meme that exploded in the summer of 2021. They embody Sartoshi_nft's words: "We're gambling our way, exploring a new world, in our own way."

2. Exceptional Art
What do BoredApeYC, AzukiOfficial, Cryptopunksnfts, and mfers have in common? Yes—distinctive art. The mfer stick figures possess an insane PFP (profile picture) appeal. When I first saw them, I immediately wanted one. I believe you did too. I don't think I'll be changing my PFP for anything new anytime soon.
3. Community Matters More
Before buying an NFT, I always go into Discord and ask: "Hey guys, what's this NFT like? Is it worth buying?" A strong community will respond to your questions immediately, while a weak one will let information fade away.
4. Breaking the Mold—No Roadmap
Roadmaps create expectations. If a project delivers, you take it for granted. If they don’t, they struggle to stay relevant. Mfers is the only project that has successfully executed the "no roadmap" model. The community shapes the future.

5. The Cheapest Blue-Chip
When you consider everything mentioned above, a floor price of 2.7 ETH seems laughable. Don’t forget that Cryptopunksnfts also lost 50% of their value multiple times before their massive rally. Mfers have only existed for four months, yet their price remains remarkably resilient.
