Soarchain is a Layer 1 network built on the Cosmos SDK that enables token-incentivized data and connectivity infrastructure for mobility. With its native smart contracts, Soarchain supports mobility-specific decentralized applications, creating a dApp ecosystem in vehicles and sparking a revolution in transportation that is more efficient, cost-effective, and environmentally friendly.
The key components between vehicles and between vehicles and the network are: V2V and V2N.
V2V stands for vehicle-to-vehicle connectivity, enabling geographically proximate vehicles (and any nodes with V2V functionality at the hardware level) to communicate application-specific data with each other without relying on any type of fixed network infrastructure or direct line-of-sight between vehicles.
Through this mechanism, Soarchain aims to create a global fleet of locally coordinated, self-organizing vehicle networks that transmit mission-critical data among themselves and unlock countless applications in road safety, carbon reduction, and collective perception.
V2N is responsible for proving vehicle-to-network connectivity, enabling any vehicle or road user to deliver application-specific data to its consumers via any protocol capable of acting as an internet relay.
The V2N PoAv works similarly to the V2V PoAv, except that the data transmission is sent to a decentralized entity called a "runner," which is a cloud server supported by network participants. They are responsible for receiving messages from V2N broadcasters and temporarily storing them in a database.
Once they are ready to accept a challenge, they send a claim to the "V2N challenger" containing the last message in the buffer, the Merkle root generated from the messages, and some additional metadata. The "V2N challenger" then challenges the runner back, requesting a random set of messages used to reconstruct the original Merkle tree shared with it.
Motus is Soarchain's self-developed onboard unit that enables vehicles to communicate with each other and with infrastructure, people, and the cloud through various communication protocols. In the future, users will also be able to mine the native token $MOTUS through it.
