AI Arena is a blockchain game integrating human-AI collaboration, where players design, train, and battle AI-powered NFTs in a global PvP Arena. Simply put, AI Arena is a PvP fighting game for players worldwide. Currently, two game modes are available: Research Competition and Gaming Competition.
In the Research Competition, participants are researchers who submit their best machine learning (ML) models. Researchers upload their ML models to the platform, where they compete against AI models from other researchers. Top-performing researchers earn rewards in AI Arena's native token.
In the Gaming Competition, players from around the world compete by developing optimal training strategies to maximize their NFTs' performance in the Arena. As mentioned, each NFT character contains an AI model that learns how to fight by mimicking your actions and then drives your NFT character during battles. Players climbing the AI Arena global leaderboard (ranked matches) can also earn rewards in the game's native token.
The native token of AI Arena is called Neuron (NRN), which incentivizes both researchers and players to participate in this AI competition and serves as the foundation of AI Arena's economic flywheel.
On January 9, 2024, ArenaX Labs, the developer behind AI Arena, raised $6 million in funding led by Framework Ventures, with participation from SevenX Ventures, FunPlus/Xterio, and Moore Strategic Ventures.
