Passage is an ecosystem designed to connect virtual and physical experiences through games built by creators. In-world assets—creators can sell 3D art and immersive games to world builders, which can be easily dragged and dropped into Passage worlds.
World building templates—creators can design entire world templates, which brands and individuals can purchase and use to create Passage experiences.
Finally, plugins—creators can sell self-developed plugins on the marketplace to extend platform functionality, similar to the Shopify or WordPress plugin markets.
$pasg is the utility token of the Passage ecosystem, designed to drive platform growth by incentivizing open-source development and creator contributions. Token utilities include governance, decentralized asset management, incentives for open-source contributions, staking, and payment for platform services.
Token holders can vote on the platform's development direction, propose and vote on adding or modifying 3D assets in the platform marketplace. Developers earn PASG tokens by contributing to the platform, while staking allows holders to delegate to validators and earn rewards. Additionally, creators and users can pay for premium features and services on the platform using PASG tokens.
On July 27, 2023, Passage completed a $6 million private funding round led by Akash Network, with participation from Druid Ventures, Vitwit, Cosmostation, Hyperchain Capital, Chorus One, and Cogitent Ventures.
