Arkreen Network is a Web3-based carbon reduction infrastructure designed for globally distributed renewable energy resources, enabling the connection and monetization of carbon reduction applications.
AKRE is the ERC20 native token of Arkreen Network. The token can be distributed as rewards to contributors who help build and maintain the Arkreen network, and can also be used to pay transaction fees on the Arkreen network.
In the current phase of the roadmap, Arkreen supports the following types of "miners" for AKRE mining:
Remote Miner: Miners operate remotely without installing their own energy equipment (such as solar photovoltaic panels) and data collectors locally. Remote Miner offers a lightweight way for users who cannot purchase or install energy equipment to join the Arkreen ecosystem. Each time a Remote Miner is purchased, a Remote Miner NFT is minted.
Standard Miner: This type requires users to purchase related monitoring hardware and data collectors. Although more complex and costly compared to Remote Miner, owners can earn higher rewards.
API Miner: Rewards for API Miner are based on data from third-party platforms. For example, users connect existing energy facilities to energy management platforms. Qualified third-party platforms can provide facility data to Arkreen Network, which then issues rewards based on this data. Each API Miner receives an API Miner NFT upon confirmation of valid data.
Besides energy generation (such as solar power generation), Arkreen also introduces an energy consumption product—the Smart Plug. The Smart Plug can calculate appliance energy consumption and schedule power supply remotely. Users can power their appliances (such as air conditioners) via Smart Plug to participate in green initiatives. Meanwhile, each Smart Plug mints a corresponding NFT.
