TechFlow, September 16 — Bitget announced today the official launch of its seventh anniversary celebration. CEO Gracy Chen released an open letter introducing for the first time the concept of a Unified Exchange (UEX) as the next-generation exchange model. UEX aims to overcome the "impossible trinity" challenge faced by both CEXs and DEXs—simultaneously meeting user experience, asset diversity, and security requirements. Rebranding under this new UEX identity, Bitget plans to integrate globally tradable crypto and traditional world assets, while significantly enhancing trading intelligence and security through smart AI tools and industry-leading security practices.
Gracy stated that Bitget's Onchain trading product is about to undergo a major upgrade. After the update, onchain trading will support all assets on major public blockchains, and users will be able to trade millions of onchain assets directly using their exchange funds without needing to create non-custodial wallets. In the coming months, Bitget will further expand to support additional traditional world assets such as stocks, forex, and gold, enabling a single UEX platform to trade core global assets.
Bitget's seventh anniversary celebration, themed "Full Speed 7," symbolizes a new starting point toward the UEX era. During the event, the global "7-Gear Sprint Challenge" competition features a $400,000 prize pool, with a special grand prize: a Bitget co-branded MotoGP racing motorcycle.
