TechFlow, September 11 — According to "on-chain detective" ZachXBT, an unidentified victim on the Ethereum network was attacked yesterday, losing approximately 3.047 million USDC tokens.
The attacker exchanged the stolen USDC for Ethereum (ETH), then immediately deposited the funds into the mixing protocol Tornado Cash to launder the proceeds.
