TechFlow, September 9 — According to official documents, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Crypto Assets Task Force will host a public roundtable on "Financial Surveillance and Privacy" at its Washington headquarters on October 17. SEC Commissioner Hester Peirce stated that privacy-preserving technologies are vital for Americans and will help the SEC strike a balance with other financial regulators in formulating crypto policies.
