TechFlow, Aug 28 — According to Bloomberg, stablecoin giants Circle Internet Group Inc. and Paxos Trust Co. have piloted a new technology designed to prevent counterfeiting and help businesses verify their digital asset holdings.
The two companies partnered with fintech startup Bluprynt to leverage cryptographic and blockchain technologies, offering issuer verification services when companies issue stablecoins. The pilot project, as stated, uses Bluprynt’s technology to trace tokens back to verified issuers. Bluprynt was founded by Chris Brummer, a professor at Georgetown Law.
