TechFlow news, August 22 — According to Jinshi Data, Nationwide Chief Economist Kathy Bostjancic said the Fed will cumulatively cut interest rates by 75 basis points by year-end. She noted: "Powell has adopted a clearly more dovish tone and significantly opened the door for a rate cut in September, as he sees rising downside risks to employment. This supports our view for a 25-basis-point cut next month, and we continue to expect a total of 75 basis points in rate cuts by year-end, as the labor market weakens further while inflationary pressures remain mild and temporary."
