TechFlow news, August 18 — According to a report from the Greeks.live Chinese community, the Ethereum network is set to experience a new peak in staking withdrawals. From this week through the end of the month, approximately 880,000 ETH will exit PoS staking, with an average weekly release of ETH worth $2 billion. Historical data indicates that unstaking events of this scale could lead to a 5%-7% decline in ETH price.
Market participants are divided on short-term outlooks. Some traders view 117 as the oscillation center and 115 as the critical liquidation level for long positions. Meanwhile, ETH options market implied volatility remains high, and the market suggests deploying put option selling strategies around the 4,000 price level.
