TechFlow news, on August 17, Geoffrey Kendrick, Head of Global Digital Assets Research at Standard Chartered, stated that Norges Bank Investment Management increased its Bitcoin-related asset holdings by 83% in the second quarter. The fund raised its Bitcoin equivalent exposure from 6,200 BTC to 11,400 BTC during Q2, an 83% increase. Nearly all of this holding is invested in MicroStrategy, with an additional position of approximately 200 BTC equivalent added in Metaplanet. Norges Bank Investment Management, also known as the Norwegian Government Pension Fund Global, is the world's largest sovereign wealth fund, managing $1.7 trillion in assets.
