TechFlow, August 9 — According to analyst Yu Jin's monitoring, a whale known for "four battles with 75% win rate on ETH" had 10,080 ETH (worth $40.76 million) in short positions forcibly liquidated. After multiple liquidations and partial stop-loss reductions, this whale’s original 70,000 ETH short position has now been reduced to only 12,500 ETH, with the latest liquidation price at $4,095. The whale began shorting ETH on July 28 and once held an unrealized profit of $12.25 million on August 3. However, as before, instead of taking profits, the whale kept rolling over positions, resulting in not only losing all prior gains but also incurring a current loss of $19 million.
