TechFlow news, on July 31, Bitget Wallet officially launched its Solana network gas fee waiver service (SOL GAS FREE), becoming the first wallet product on the market to support this feature. By enabling the GetGas function and topping up, users can enjoy on-chain gas fee subsidies when making transfers or trading via Bitget Wallet, without needing to spend SOL.
This subsidy service is provided by Bitget Wallet's infrastructure Paymaster and does not rely on Solana's native relayer mechanism.
While the base gas cost per Solana transaction is extremely low, usage costs remain a barrier due to additional fees such as priority fees and new account creation fees. Bitget Wallet's SOL GAS FREE service will subsidize these costs for users.
