TechFlow news, July 20: According to on-chain investigator ZachXBT, India's centralized exchange CoinDCX appears to have suffered an attack, losing approximately $44.2 million, though no official disclosure has been made. The attacker’s address initially received 1 ETH via Tornado Cash to kickstart operations, and transferred part of the stolen assets from Solana to Ethereum. The affected CoinDCX hot wallet has not been publicly labeled nor included in current proof-of-reserves, requiring manual attribution through counterparty analysis.
