TechFlow news, July 18 — According to Jiemian News, Jiemian has learned from JD Blockchain Technology that recently individuals have been impersonating JD's name to issue a cryptocurrency called JD-HKD on major trading platforms, deceiving users into participating in trading.
These fraudulent activities have not only harmed the legitimate rights and interests of JD Blockchain Technology but also caused damage to users involved in the transactions. JD Blockchain Technology has communicated with major trading platforms to delist the related cryptocurrency and issued announcements to warn users.
JD Blockchain Technology stated that as a participant in the Hong Kong Monetary Authority's stablecoin issuer sandbox, it fully complies with Hong Kong regulatory guidelines throughout the implementation process. Prior to obtaining the Hong Kong stablecoin issuer license, any issuance of tokens using names such as "JD Stablecoin," "JD-HKD," or "JD-USD," any solicitation of users to purchase such tokens, or any token issuance under the false pretense of JD or its partners, are all scams. JD will not issue any governance tokens beyond its official stablecoin. Users are urged to carefully verify information and avoid participation.
