TechFlow news, July 14 — According to an official website announcement, Tesla has launched its AI assistant Grok into its in-car system. The feature supports hands-free operation, allowing users to choose from different voices and personality traits. Grok will be pre-installed on all new vehicles delivered after July 12, 2025. For existing vehicles, eligibility requires an AMD processor, software version 2025.26 or higher, and either Premium Connectivity service or Wi-Fi connection. It's worth noting that Grok is currently in Beta and offers only information query capabilities, with no ability to control the vehicle. Interactions between users and Grok will remain anonymous and will not be associated with the vehicle or personal information.
