TechFlow news, July 10 — According to Bloomberg, the U.S. Department of the Treasury has officially revoked its reporting rules targeting cryptocurrency. The rule previously required decentralized cryptocurrency exchanges (DeFi) to report customer transaction data to the U.S. government for tax purposes. Earlier, Republican members of Congress had voted to repeal these rules through the Congressional Review Act, which was signed into law by President Trump in April.
