TechFlow news, July 10 — According to Cointelegraph, Uzbekistan's national payment system HUMO announced it will issue government bond-backed crypto tokens through its subsidiary HUMO Digital. The token has been registered in the Unified Electronic Crypto Asset Registry maintained by Uzbekistan's National Agency for Perspective Projects (NAPP), with collateral and secure custody supervised by crypto custodian Asterium. The HUMO token offers instant automated fiat conversion, no intermediary delays, lower transaction costs, and full transparency and security based on blockchain. As a national payment system issuing over 35 million cards, HUMO aims to attract foreign investment, streamline business payments, and enhance financial transparency through this project. The system has established direct relationships with global payment networks including Visa, MasterCard, and UnionPay, and is actively expanding integration with multiple countries such as Georgia and Kazakhstan.
