TechFlow, July 10 — HashKey Chain has announced the launch of its veHSK (vote-escrowed HSK) governance mechanism on the mainnet, marking a significant advancement in community governance. veHSK is a non-transferable governance token obtained by staking HSK, enabling users to participate in on-chain governance voting and gain access to ecosystem benefits such as priority project participation and revenue distribution proposals.
The newly launched veHSK introduces a dual-track governance system, comprising routine governance that does not consume veHSK and major governance decisions that require partial veHSK expenditure, ensuring a balance between governance activity and decision rigor. In the future, veHSK will be increasingly utilized in critical decision-making scenarios such as Grants distribution, ecosystem asset management, and RWA parameters, promoting deeper integration between governance and incentives.
HashKey Chain stated that veHSK serves as a bridge connecting long-term value participants with the on-chain governance structure, laying a solid foundation for building a sustainable, user-centric on-chain financial ecosystem.
