TechFlow news, July 7 — The TON Foundation has officially released a statement clarifying that recent reports circulating on social media platform X about its collaboration with the UAE government to offer golden visas were premature. The Foundation stated that the related initiative is merely an independent exploration with an authorized partner focused on blockchain infrastructure and remains in the early development stage, having not yet received formal approval or endorsement from the UAE government. The TON Foundation supports the joint statement issued by the UAE's Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP), the Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA), and the Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (VARA), confirming that no digital residency or investment visa programs have been approved.
