TechFlow, July 2 — According to the latest survey by the Korea Financial Research Institute, South Korea's virtual asset investment is shifting from speculation to strategic allocation. Among respondents aged 20–50, 27% hold crypto assets, accounting for 14% of their total financial assets. Ninety percent of investors hold cryptocurrencies, with 60% specifically choosing Bitcoin as a core asset. Investors on average hold two different cryptocurrencies, diversifying further as they gain experience. Notably, 53% of investors aged 50 view cryptocurrencies as retirement preparation, and 79% aim to "accumulate substantial funds."
