TechFlow, June 28 — KraneShares, an asset management firm focused on exchange-traded funds (ETFs), is seeking to launch a "Coinbase 50 Index ETF" that would track the 50 largest digital assets by market capitalization. The company filed registration documents with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on Friday. The Coinbase 50 Index, launched at the end of 2024, is an index product overseen by the largest cryptocurrency exchange in the United States. Its weightings are re-evaluated quarterly and currently consist of 50% Bitcoin, approximately 21% ETH, and 9% XRP.
