TechFlow news, June 27 — According to on-chain analyst EmberCN (@EmberCN), an Ethereum staking whale redeemed 40,128 ETH that had been staked in March last year. Over the past two weeks, this whale has dispersed approximately 41,400 ETH (worth around $100 million) across multiple centralized exchanges.
Notably, when the whale made the initial stake last year, ETH was priced at about $3,227. The current ETH price stands at $2,417. Based on current prices, the whale faces an unrealized loss of approximately $28.8 million after over a year of staking.
