TechFlow news, June 22 — Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino recently shared his vision for future technological development, predicting that within 5 to 15 years, smart devices will no longer come pre-installed with applications—and may even eliminate app stores altogether—shifting instead toward local private data storage and AI assistants that dynamically generate user interfaces in real time. Ardoino stated that future devices will retrieve additional data through peer-to-peer proxies, with AI assistants negotiating communication protocols among themselves to improve efficiency, while most computation will occur locally on the device to reduce latency. He also revealed that QVAC is working to build an open operating system for this vision, aiming to free users from installing fixed applications, instead enabling local AI to customize functionalities on demand in real time.
