TechFlow, June 20 — According to two Israeli security sources speaking to Iran International TV, Israel hopes the U.S. will use its superior firepower to destroy Iran's underground Fordow nuclear facility. However, if military outcomes and public opinion allow, Israel may act independently within the coming days. The sources still believe a joint operation with the U.S. remains the most likely scenario, expected to be carried out within 48 to 72 hours at the latest. They added that an attack could begin as early as Friday evening, but Israel is also weighing independent action to avoid losing the military advantage gained this week. An anonymous Israeli intelligence official said: "This is the only way to force Iran into concessions it would not otherwise make and bring it back to the negotiating table—we need the U.S. to act."
