TechFlow, June 19 — According to Cointelegraph, Russian Ministry of Finance official Ivan Chebeskov stated that despite new regulations set to take effect by the end of 2024, only 30% of cryptocurrency miners are currently registered with the Federal Tax Service, while 70% remain in the "underground."
Chebeskov emphasized that the government will continue advancing miner registration, saying, "Our overall policy is to bring this industry out of the shadows as much as possible, and this process is not yet complete."
