TechFlow, June 19 — According to Cryptonews, following a cyberattack on Iran's largest cryptocurrency exchange that resulted in losses exceeding $90 million, the Central Bank of Iran has ordered all domestic cryptocurrency exchanges to restrict their operating hours.
The new regulations limit trading hours to between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m., appearing to be a direct response to the hack on Nobitex, aiming to strengthen oversight and reduce the likelihood of future incidents, especially during off-hours when cybersecurity response times are slower.
