TechFlow news, June 14 — According to the Financial Times, investment firm DRW Investments, founded by U.S. financial tycoon Don Wilson, has purchased nearly 4 million shares of Trump Media & Technology Group, worth approximately $100 million, making it one of the top investors betting on Trump Media's cryptocurrency ventures. However, its rival Jane Street remains the largest investor in Trump Media's crypto bets, having committed around $375 million. DRW Investments is a major institutional player in the digital asset space and the backer of liquidity provider Cumberland. The firm hopes a potential second Trump administration will reconsider regulatory authority over the U.S. securities industry. It previously called for establishing a new regulator to replace both the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission. Trump Media has not yet responded to requests for comment on DRW's investment.
