TechFlow news, June 12 — Christine Kim, former Vice President of Research at Galaxy Digital, raised questions regarding the newly released organizational structure of the Ethereum Foundation. Kim questioned whether Alex Stokes, Barnabé Monnot, and Tim Beiko can simultaneously lead the Ethereum Foundation's research and development teams while overseeing Layer 1 scaling, Layer 2 solutions, and user experience improvements over the next 12 months.
Kim expressed appreciation for the Ethereum Foundation's transparency but voiced concerns about the organizational chart, including whether bolded names indicate team leads, the meaning of highlighted markings, and whether Tim Beiko is simultaneously leading protocol coordination while supervising teams such as PAS, PandaOps, Geth, and Steel. She also inquired about the logic behind color-coded team groupings—for example, why consensus and account abstraction are grouped together rather than with stateless consensus or P2P networking.
