TechFlow news, June 9 — According to Jinshi Data, Trump deployed the National Guard to Los Angeles, sparking controversy over infringing on state autonomy after clashes with protesters opposing the violent removal of undocumented immigrants. Musk, who recently broke ties with Trump, rarely expressed public support but now backs Trump's actions.
Musk shared on X a post by Trump from the social platform Truth, in which Trump demanded that the mayor of Los Angeles take responsibility for the violence and apologize to its people, calling protesters troublemakers and insurgents. Musk also reposted two tweets—one from Vice President Vance praising Trump's "decisive leadership" and refusal to tolerate riots and violence, and another from conservative journalist Ryan Girdusky mocking California's Latinization with the slogan "Make California America Again." Musk added that protesters waving the Mexican flag was "not okay."
